​So Saddle up your vehicle and follow the trail to the Covered Wagon.  This one-room suite with a private entrance and front porch was created to reflect early Mason County in the 1860s.  Born and raised in a metropolitan Texas city, I understand why city slickers need to occasionally leave the hustle and bustle behind and relax in a world away from their reality.  Come experience the Romance of the West...sleep on a queen size mattress that is cocooned around authentic parts of a real covered wagon.

The Covered Wagon was created in a spirit of wellness, comfort, and a sense of the heritage and appreciation of early Texas Pioneers.  Like these early travelers and settlers, we respect our environment and therefore the guestroom is cleaned with non-toxic products.

Earth tones surround you, creating a sense of tranquility. No pictures are on the wall…but a subtle painting of the horizon where sky meets the earth. The rug covered concrete floor has been faux painted to resemble the bare earth.
